Recently the Miami Heat went a perfect 40-40 in free throws. This was a record breaking event, beating the previous record of a 39-39 by Utah in 1982. On this shocking Tuesday, Jimmy Butler scored the record breaking free throws. He scored 35 points.

Coming into the off-season, Carlos Correa was one of the most sought after free agents. Most of the star free agents had agreed to new contracts before the end of December, and so did Correa.

Japan’s victory over Germany surprised the world in the 2022 FIFA World Cup match on Wednesday, November 23. During the first half of the game, Germany dominated the possession and made more shots, but Japan remained optimistic and kept its cool.

The Brooklyn Nets have looked like they are in shambles thus far in this NBA season. Following Kevin Durant’s trade request in the offseason and Ben Simmons’ mediocre return back from injury, Irving made headlines as he was suspended just 8 games into the NBA season. Irving, a very outspoken individual in the basketball community, has had a history of unavailability to play whether it be as a result of injury or controversial personal reasons.

But without a doubt, what basketball fans have craved since the Summer of 2022, is a rematch between the NBA champion Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics, and on Saturday, December 10th, that’s what they received.
