Canada’s Got Talent, Eh?

Canadian Artists

Canadians have been dominating the billboard charts lately.  Even though we have lost the number one spot to Adele and her single  Hello, ( I mean, who can blame her!) there are five Canadians holding seven spots on the Billboard’s Hot 100!

Justin Bieber himself is holding onto three slots ( number two, three and five) with his catchy and very well-known songs Sorry,  Love Yourself, and What do you mean?  The Biebs has definitely made an impact on music this year and has gained many fans with his newest album Purpose.

Hotline Bling is number four on the list, which is obvious after it became a viral sensation.  Drake, also known as the “6 God” is not only known for his great music but his fantastic dance moves.

Alessia Cara and her debut single Here are sitting at a well earned number seven while the number eight spot is taken by Shawn Mendes and his song Stitches.

Finally, at number nine is the rising star, the Weeknd, with his hit The Hills. The Weeknd has an amazing seven Grammy nominations including record of the year and album of the year.

All over the world, Canadians have been making their impact on the music industry. These artists, and many others have proven that Canada DOES have talent!
