On January 26th, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, directed by Wes Ball and based on the book series written by James Dashner, was released worldwide starring Dylan O’Brian.

“The Death Cure” was action-packed and guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat. The movie was a huge success among young teenagers and received an impressive 6.8/10 rating on IMDb. “The Death Cure” has dominated the international box office with $184 million from screens worldwide.

” The movie was full of action and surprises. There was never a moment of boredom and I was entertained the whole time!” said Niroshini Mather (11).

“The Death Cure”, the finale in the popular “Maze Runner” trilogy, is full of suspenseful events and jump-scares to ensure that you are entertained. It is based on a group of courageous teenagers on a dangerous mission to rescue their friend who is being tested by “WCKD”, an organization that is killing people in order to find the cure for “The Flare”. The plot is fast-paced and filled with action-packed, suspenseful, sad, scary, and romantic scenes.

Critisism for “The Death Cure” would be that some scenes ran too long and the plot was lost. Often times the plot seemed to be astray due to endless amounts of action.

After reading the book and watching the movie, I think “The Death Cure” was an excellent movie because the action and plot twists never failed to surprise me. I recommend this movie to all the action and suspense genre lovers because it does not disappoint.
