In celebration of the start of the most wonderful time of the year, the annual iheart Radio Jingle Ball took place on December 1, in Los Angeles.
The Jingle ball this year consisted of a variety of well-known artists who have made an impact on the music industry. Many artists performed this year including Sam Smith, Chainsmokers, Charlie Puth, Demi Lovato, Kesha, Ed Sheeran, Halsey, Lauren Jauregui (from fifth harmony), former One Direction members Niall Horan and Liam Payne, rapper Macklemore, Cheat Codes, and of course Taylor Swift. With the famous host Ryan Seacrest and the hilarious talk show host of the Late Late Show, James Corden attending the Jingle Ball, it left the audience entertained and amused.
Fans especially enjoyed the guest appearance of Taylor Swift, who has taken time off to write and create new music along with establishing her ‘new identity’. Fans were delighted to see her on stage and her performance was seen as the highlight of the show as it marked her return to the spotlight. After her performance, she took to social media stating “Last night was funnnn. Thank you to everyone who came to KIIS-FM Jingle Ball YOU WERE SO LOUD! And dancy. And Wonderful.”
Former one direction members Niall Horan and Liam Payne both performed that night as individual artists, which many people have grown to appreciate after the band One Direction split. Both artists took a picture after the Jingle Ball, which Liam later posted with the caption “?? @niallhoran good to see you bro” leaving the One Direction fans hearts warmed and excited.

The Jingle Ball ended with a surprise performance by Taylor Swift, who brought Ed Sheeran on stage for a wonderful duet song of her song “End Game” on Taylor’s new album “Reputation”. The amazing performances by all the artists, left the fans and the audience thrilled and in awe. Overall, the iheart radio Jingle Ball kicked off the festive and joyous spirit of the holidays and was a huge success.
