On January 28th, 2018 the 60th Annual Grammy Awards were held at Madison Square Garden in New York City allowing numerous music artists to be acknowledged and appreciated for their various talents.
James Corden, a hilarious comedian and host of Late Late Show with James Corden, hosted the 2018 Grammys. Talented artists like Bruno Mars, Cardi B, Alessia Cara, Logic, Khalid, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Kesha and many more provided unforgettable performances throughout the night. Bruno Mars emerged as the big winner, taking home 6 Grammys including “Song of the Year” for “That’s What I Like” and “Album of the Year” for “24k Magic”.
Canada’s Alessia Cara happily took home her first Grammy for “Best New Artist”. Kendrick Lamar unsurprisingly took home four Grammys for “Best Rap Album”, “Best Rap Song”, “Best Rap Performance”, and “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration” to cap off an unbelievable year. Ed Sheeran received 2 Grammys for “Best Pop Vocal Album” for “Divide” and “Best Pop Solo Performance” for “Shape of You”.
