In Joker, he is revealed to be a normal person, Arthur Fleck who finds himself in unfortunate circumstances and struggles to succeed. The Joker character is reimagined and deviates from the common approach to superhero movies, in which the good superhero fights against the bad. Joker leads viewers to question who is right and what is real.
