Hey guys! My name is Emily Yang and I am so excited to be a creative writing reporter for the Axiom this year!
If anyone who knows me were to describe me, I think “artistic” would be the first thing they’d say. I know, it sounds hella pretentious. It applies though! I’ve been studying and practicing visual art for seven years now, although I’ve had a passion for it practically since being in the womb. I’m interested in all things creative; fashion, interior design, music, cooking, graphic design, and film. I play the piano at ARCT level, though I suck at music theory (whoops). I am a ballet dancer and have danced since I was four. Most importantly, I love reading and writing. English literature is such a deep field to be immersed in and I fully intend on pursuing it in the future.
