On December 1st, 2017, the Social Justice council hosted the annual Espresso Self event in the library of St. Robert CHS. The event was held from 7:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M and it consisted of many great performances from many talented St. Robert students.
Espresso self provided students with an opportunity to express themselves in a form of art, such as dancing, singing, and poetry. The event also raised money to support health packages for different countries in need.
During the performances, all the attendees were provided with a variety of pastries and Starbucks coffee.
Many students enjoyed the event. Dorothy Hong (10) thought that the event was a great way to support people on a global scale. Marcus (10) said, “The performances were very entertaining and the night was truly inspiring.”
The students at St. Robert CHS were glad that the annual school event was a great success.
