On October 5th, the staff and students at St. Robert CHS got into the spirit of Thanksgiving by participating in our annual Turkey Trot race.
Thanksgiving is always observed on a Monday, resulting in a welcome long weekend for everyone, but the spirit of giving back to a good cause has not abated in the slightest, even as we celebrate early. In fact, the well wishes seemed to be infectious, with members from multiple councils arriving at school early on the day of the event to help run it.

Indeed, Thanksgiving matters more then feasting on turkey and pumpkin pie; it is supposed to be a day of recognition for the many privileges we take for granted in our day-to-day lives. The next time this holiday comes around, ask yourself this: Are you really celebrating the true spirit of Thanksgiving?
