Lots of people, lots of tables, lots of posters, and lots of bags were confined in a room that seemed large before but now felt small.

That was how the council club fair was like on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Many people, ranging from excited grade 9s to determined grade 12s, were there to learn about different clubs, including the Axiom, and the school’s seven councils such as social justice, arts council and STUCO. Students were able to sign up to receive notifications about clubs that interested them.

Some clubs were shouting cheers to get the student’s attention while others used their displays or technology to draw people to their club. As grade ten student later put it, the council club fair was “beautiful chaos.”

Even though the crowdedness might have been repelling to some, many who attended were driven by their ambition to explore the wide variety of clubs the school has to offer.
