Through the month of September, Grade 9s have constantly been writing applications for school councils. With seven in total, (student council, art council, environmental council, french council, student athletic council, chaplaincy council, and social justice council ), there were a lot of applicants.

Grade 9s were told to fill in applications which were then reviewed by the executives of the council. Each Grade 9 student was allowed to only apply for one council. As the applications were reviewed, the executives would chose the applicants which were the most appropriate for the council.
