From November 20 to November 24, St. Robert students celebrated Anti-Bullying Week at their high school to raise more awareness on bullying.
For this week, the ESP committee organized many events. One of the events included a half civvies day. Students had a chance to wear a pink top in order to show support for victims of bullying.
The ESP committee also hosted a variety of activities in the cafeteria. Many students had the chance to get involved with theese activities. Karen Chen (9), revealed that she enjoyed participating in fun games, such as The Wheel of Fortune. In addition, ESP members were selling Kindnessgrams, allowing students to send a compliment and a treat to their friends.
Overall, with the dedication and creativity from the ESP committee, Anti-Bullying Week helped raise bully awareness at St. Robert Catholic High school. Rebecca Geng (9), a member of the ESP committee, said,”I hope that this week will influence students to have a pro-active reaction when it comes to bullying.”
