The University of Guelph is offering a unique course on Taylor swift, a unique pop icon starting this winter semester. The name will be “Taylor swift: Music, Media and Meaning” and will explore her music, lyrics and cultural influence, giving students an in-depth look at one of the world’s most successful pop artists. read more

ROSÉ and Bruno Mars “APT” is reigning over the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. for the third week in a row.  This song also introduced ROSÉ’s solo studio album, “Rosie”, which was announced by ROSÉ herself that is planned to be published on December 6th, 2024. read more

Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour first started on March 17, 2023 and to this day, continues. Her recent tours have been taking place in diverse global locations,   from Los Angeles to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her concerts in Los Angeles have been so hysterical that people who lived in homes thousands of miles away from the SoFi stadium reported that their houses were shaking. Others also believe that Taylor’s Concert caused a minor 2.3 magnitude earthquake in Seattle, Washington. In each concert, she performs hit songs from her eclectic 10 albums, signifying a different “era”; each album is highlighted by a distinct music style, concert lighting, stage props, choreography, and last but not least, an iconic outfit. Some of her famous tracks she has performed are: Lover, Enchanted, Cruel Summer, The Man, Fearless, You belong to me, Ready for it?, and more! She often performs a total of 44 songs per concert, making the concert around 3 hours and 15 minutes. read more
