On October 10th, 2019, Iran played possibly one of their biggest games in the nation’s history for reasons which transcend above the boundaries of sport. For the first time in decades, Iranian women were given the right to attend and watch a game of soccer from the inside. This headline illuminated the news world going into the game, but an even bigger one came out as Iran thrashed Cambodia 14-0.
