Many high school students participate in the CEMC Euclid Mathematics contest every year. This year, it was held at participating schools on April 4th. This contest is aimed at Grade 12 students and students in grades 9-11 who are strong in math.

This holiday season, the St. Robert community celebrated the holidays in many different ways. This included students and staff participating and getting involved in many fun activities to welcome the holiday spirit.

Hi St. Robert,
I am Vista Vajedsamiei, and I am currently in grade eleven. I will be one of your reporters here at the Axiom this year! I am very excited to be part of the team again because I truly enjoyed writing for the school events section of the newspaper last year.

Recently, St. Robert students received their mid-term report cards. We asked some school community members to share their thoughts about the school year so far, as well as how they felt about their grades now that we are halfway through the first semester of this academic year. We also interviewed philosophy and religion teacher Ms. Roccari on her perspective on students this school year

Transgender Day of Visibility is celebrated annually on March 31st. On this day, we celebrate the accomplishments of Transgender and other gender minorities, such as non-binary people. It is also a day to recognize the work that has yet to be done to achieve justice and equality for Transgender people and challenge our own biases and prejudices.

This past February, the Saint Robert community celebrated the annual Black History Month. Among a variety of events, the school invited renowned poet, speaker, and author Nadine Williams. Ms. Williams shared with us some of her poetry and works, including “The Fabric of our Being” and “The Immigrant Child”.

Last week, the St. Robert community joined in celebrating the first week of Advent. During Advent, Christians prepare for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

This year, Social Justice Council held their first event, the “We Scare Hunger” food drive from November 1st to November 10th.
