St. Robert CHS Student News
ROOM 118 is where all the magic happens. One of the most influential councils present at St. Robert is the Student Council. Composed of students and teachers, they devote a long period of time every Monday after school to bring events together for the student body.
As part of a Catholic community, St. Robert always strives to give back to those in need and one of the many clubs that helps make this possible is Social Justice, which has been part of the school community for many years. Its goal this year is to partner with Free the Children and Me-to-We to build yet another school as part of the Adopt-A-Village program. Social Justice continues to make a great impact on the school community as it brings awareness to global issues and encourages the school staff and students to participate in fundraisers and volunteering opportunities. For the month of October, Social Justice started a “We Scare Hunger” food drive for Halloween. It is small acts like these that go a long way to better the life of families in need. LIFE Fellowship is a place where many students gather together to pray and gain a deeper understanding of God. There are no strangers and everyone is welcome to the family. Every Wednesday, they meet up in the chapel to sing, worship, and learn about God.
