As days go by and COVID restrictions increase, dreams of travel remain far from grasp, and vacation becomes an unreachable fantasy. Yet, despite this continued rise in cases, social media has been flooded with photos of countless “influencers” giving wings to our flights of fantasy. With travel being such a conflicting concept to our new reality, the question must be asked: Why are these influencers travelling during the pandemic?
iCarly, a beloved childhood TV series that broadcasted from the years 2007 to 2010, has announced a reboot to be released in late 2021.

After 14 years, and 20 seasons, Keeping Up With The Kardashians is coming to an end with the final season airing in 2021. On September 8, 2020, Kris Jenner announced the news in an Instagram post, thanking the fans and parties involved for their support throughout the years.

Enola Holmes premiered on September 23, 2020, on Netflix. Based on the first book of the young adult fiction series by Nancy Springer, this film takes us on Enola’s journey to find her missing mother, taking the spotlight away from her infamous brother, Sherlock Holmes.

Often argued to be one of the best science fiction books written, Dune by Frank Herbert finds relevance to this day with its interesting plot and subplots that delve into real-world problems. In this book, Frank Herbert creates a new universe that functions in familiar yet alien ways. Dune, published in August of 1965, is a sci-fi book that is most certainly unique from the language to the monarchy involved. However, while it does create this alien universe Dune also shows how humanity always finds its own ways to balance order and chaos.

On Thursday, January 14, Selena Gomez released her highly anticipated Spanish single, “De Una Vez,” which translates to “At Once.” The rhythmic pop song discusses themes of love, self-worth, emotional growth, and empowerment, reflecting Gomez’s healing, empowerment, forgiveness, and strength to move forward with her life.
Ever since Disney Pixar announced the creation of this film, many people have been awaiting its release with much anticipation. Finally, on the 25th of December, Disney's Soul was made available for streaming on Disney+.
