Christmas came just in Time
Santa finally arrived at St. Robert and brought what we needed most: a break from school. Since the curriculum marathon is near it’s end, classes have started their sprint to the finish line. After intense learning, wrapping up projects, and last minute tests, the cheery dismissal announcement was a warm surge of relief for teachers and students. A reminder that we truly are entering the most wonderful time of the year. Of course the lighter atmosphere and spirit of the school sped up the seemingly never ending days.
Book Drive
Are you constantly wondering when the next civvies day will be? Well, the old books lying around your house could get you another civvies day.

I Moustache You a Question… But I’ll Shave it for Later
With all the excitement that comes with November, there is surely no doubt that you have at least come across the word Movember. Movember is the combination of the words “moustache” and “November”. It all began in 2003, with two guys named Travis Garone and Luke Slattery, from Melbourne, Australia. The two began to jokingly talk about some “recurring fashion trends” and found a way to convince a few of their friends to bring back the moustache trend to raise money for men’s health and prostate cancer and the prevention of depression.

A Night in Vegas
The 21st of November, 2014 was a highly anticipated night for many students of St. Robert as they prepared to attend the school’s annual semi-formal event, the theme of which was “Viva Las Vegas!” As the doors to The Royalton opened, over 200 students, all looking their best, could be seen entering the hall one by one, ready to have a good time. Was it worth the $60 price tag? And should you go next year? According to the students who went, the answer is yes. Why? Well, according to Eddie W. (12), “There were a lot of pretty girls.” But if you’re still not convinced, let’s take a detailed look at what the semi-formal had to offer:
Lest We Forget
On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, all the weapons dropped on the ground in a united declaration of peace in the world. The red poppies pinned on our chests are a symbol of the memory of all the soldiers who sacrificed themselves for our country.
