Hi everyone! My name is Clare Wu, and I’m one of the newest writers for the creative column of The Axiom. I am a grade 9 in the pre-IB program and I’m so thrilled to be a part of The Axiom during the 2019-2020 year. Throughout my life, I’ve perpetually loved to read and write, (much to the exasperation of my friends) which is why I think the Axiom is the perfect place for me to showcase my passion for literature.

During my spare time, I enjoy swimming, playing with my cat, and of course, reading. I find it all too easy to fall into a story and I have an infinite supply of books I enjoy. Nevertheless, some of my favourite novels include the Stalking Jack The Ripper series, the Long Walk, 1984, and the Love Quotient. I love all forms of books, but normally find myself nose-deep in a horror or romance book – my preferred genres.

Hello everyone! My name is Christina Xie and I am excited to be apart of the 2019-2020 Axiom. I am currently in grade 10 pre-IB and this is my first year being a part of the school newspaper.
