My name is Eva Guo and I am a grade nine student and one of the editorial reporters. Here’s a bit about myself: I enjoy reading about history, drawing, and playing video games. I don’t enjoy talking about myself so I’ll wrap it up here. I am very excited to be writing for The Axiom and I hope I can be a meaningful asset to the team.

Hi, my name is Sara. I’m in grade 9 and one of the entertainment reporters this year 😛 I love drawing, reading and playing the piano. During my free time, I usually listen to music, watch TV, talk to my friends or review my homework and the topics I learned in school that day. This year I’m hoping to write interesting and fun articles about entertainment, make new friends, create memorable memories and improve my writing skills. Thanks for reading!

Hey, I’m Kyle, a grade 9 Pre-IB Student and possibly the biggest soccer fanboy you will ever meet. I’m an avid Soccer Player and a supporter of the greatest Soccer team ever, Real Madrid . Aside from Soccer, I love debating and essay writing, and I also play Ultimate Frisbee. This year, as one of the Sport Editors, I hope to report to you on the latest and most exciting Soccer Games!
Alvin Xiong (10) l STAFF REPORTER
Hello, everyone. My name is Alvin Xiong and I’m a grade 10 student at everyone’s favorite high school. I will be covering sports this year and trying my best to create false hope on the Raptor’s non-existent playoff chances. For the sake of all of our sanities, I hope we do not trade Scottie or Gradey. Obviously, I am a basketball fan but I also enjoy making music. 5 years from now, I hope I will be rich and famous for my hugely successful music career. I’m really looking forward to a potential Joji album this school year. I unfortunately found Smithereens extremely underwhelming but my deep love and belief in Joji’s talent has led me to expect a major improvement soon.

My name is Dylan Wong and I am a Grade 9 student in the IB program.
My favourite hobbies are playing golf, reading a wide-spread variety of novels (the Harry Potter series being one that I am the most fascinated by), and learning famous songs on the piano.
Lucas Fang (9) l STAFF REPORTER
Hi, my name is Lucas.
I’m one of your school events reporters this year. I’m currently a grade 9 Pre-IB student. Here’s hoping I don’t drop out. A few clubs I’ve tried out for are DECA, math team, debate team, and obviously the Axiom. There’s more to me than school, though. I enjoy listening to music, and my favourite artists are Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo. I like to watch sad rom-coms on Disney+ as well. I also play a few sports like swimming, skating, and skiing, and I hope to become a lifeguard someday. As for skiing, I started skiing when I was 7 with my mom, and I’ve grown to like it over the course of my life. Every year I make sure I ski at least one time. I’ve also been on a TV show before, but it’s an obscure kids’ show from China. Good luck finding it. Talking with friends and meeting new people are my specialties, and I take pride in that. What do I do with these new people, you ask? Well, If you ever find me in the halls, I’ll probably be rambling to someone I know. I’m extremely happy to be a part of the Axiom team this year and I hope you will enjoy what I write. Bye for now.
