Howdy y’all! My name is Christian Park and I hope you’re happy to know that I will be a writer for our school’s newspaper, The Axiom.
Hello students of St. Robs! My name is Melika and I am glad to say that I am officially part of The Axiom staff as a reporter for school events.
Hello St. Robs! I’m Joe and I’m very nervous and excited to be a part of this top-notch newspaper staff. Go Axiom!
My name is Rose and I am a grade 12 student at St. Robert CHS.
I joined The Axiom to meet and get to know new people before my last year of high school. I would like to expand my experience and be more involved with the school because, through the past clubs that I have joined, I gained a lot of new friends that I wouldn’t have met otherwise.

Hi everybody! My name is Ashmitha Gnanapragasam and I am a Grade 10 Pre-I.B. student attending St.Robert Catholic High School. I am honoured to be a part of the Axiom family as an entertainment reporter this year.
Hey everyone! I am Madura Muraleetharan a new creative writer for The Axiom.
In addition to that title, I am also a grade 11 IB student. To be completely honest, IB is not as horrific as it seems, but to be fair it is only September. My favourite subject is history, but whether that be because of the teacher or the subject itself, it is something that I am going to leave open-ended.

My roommate chose the moment the bird left to awaken.
“Did you hear that train whistle? I just had the weirdest dr-” she suddenly sat up as if startled by my appearance. “Sam. Are you alright? You look like you’ve been terrified half to death by an open window. What happened?” Concern filled her voice.

BEWARE THE BIRD.
I jolted awake in bed. My heart racing off-beat. A quick glance at Megan’s bed told me all I needed to know. It must have only been a rotten dream, I told myself.

I stared at the strange little bird. For the first time, I noticed the faint gray smoke floating from its tail, the peculiar shine of its eyes, and the soft whir of turning gears. A minute passed before I recovered.
