Judy Sheindlin, the star of the popular reality court show Judge Judy, announced on March 2nd that the show’s next season will be her 25th and last season during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
The program first debuted in 1996 on CBS, winning three Daytime Emmy awards since its inception and boasting the highest ratings in courtroom programming in the US. After more than 20 years worth of original episodes, stations will continue to air reruns of the program thanks to a two-year deal made with CBS.
