Harmony Chen (9) | STAFF REPORTER
Hello everyone!
My name is Harmony Chen and I am a grade nine student here at St. Robert Catholic High School. I will be one of your reporters in the editorials section for the 2022/2023 school year.
I decided to join the team for a plethora of reasons, one of the most dominant being that writing provides me an opportunity for perspective and growth. In the Axiom, I hope to strengthen my writing, learn from feedback, and manipulate my writing into an uplifting outlet.
As a rather introverted person, I often spend my time listening to music, writing fictitious poetry, and drilling math contests (which are, in fact, very humbling and continuously reinforce my incompetence). I love drawing, dancing, and reading. I also do Wushu (Chinese martial arts) and lion dance. With my friends, I enjoy singing live karaoke and harmonizing to Taylor Swift songs—name one and I will know every lyric by heart.
I am looking forward to a thrilling year of writing and journalism!
