Meet Your Reporter: Sarah Morra

Sarah Morra (12) | STAFF REPORTER

Hey everyone, my name is Sarah Morra, I am a grade 12 IB student at St. Robs and I am a returning Editorial reporter for the Axiom this year.

My passions within writing are centered around economics, politics, and philosophy (primarily). If you take a look through past articles of mine or stay tuned for this year’s articles, you’ll notice a lot of them are based around social issues and current affairs. That being said, I love learning about new things and taking the time to research different topics and subject areas.

My hobbies and interests are far too scattered to be reduced into a single sentence – however vaguely, I am consumed by my love for literature, journaling, coffee, and music. I absolutely cannot walk past a bookstore or hear about a book sale without taking a look – and inevitably purchasing half their inventory. I currently enjoy reading about historical events, specifically those surrounding ancient civilizations and ways of life or the Renaissance period. In tandem with these subjects, I enjoy philosophical literature and debate, which ties into my interest in journaling. It is not uncommon to find me feverishly scrawling words across my notebook and trying to encapsulate my thoughts onto a piece of paper. I am a self-proclaimed conversationalist (yapper) and so if you’re interested in any of these things, feel free to chat with me!

I am excited to return to the Axiom this year and cannot wait to see new faces, inspired writing, and have a great final year.
