The sign stood, propped up on a potted plant, outside a tiny, four-post tent. As Molly read the hand-lettered, swirly font, she privately thought the material of the tent’s drapes looked just like her grandma’s carpet. Despite her skepticism, she counted her palmful of change: two dollars exactly. Between the overpriced ice cream and the bustling arcade, there wasn’t exactly anywhere else along the boardwalk to spend the money. I suppose there’s no reason not to. Sometimes, school can be a lot, especially with all the assignments students have to complete, and all the tests we have to study for. As a result of this, many students have trouble balancing their personal well-being and school work. Especially at St. Robert CHS, many students decide to focus on their academics, often neglecting their own needs. Students are often very stressed and tired, with very little time for breaks.  read more

Hello St. Robs. My name is Cordelia Liu and I’ll be one of the writers in the sports and entertainment section. I decided to join The Axiom because I thought it would be the perfect way for me to network with others as well as improve my writing. Since I am new to this school, I found it difficult to network and meet people I have never interacted with before. In addition, I personally believe my writing is not my greatest strength.  but I want to get better at expressing myself. So by joining The Axiom,  I think it would be an excellent opportunity to get involved with the school community and get better at writing.  read more
