The week of December 3rd, French Council hosted French Week – a week with a series of events to inform the St. Robert CHS population about the French culture.

Although France has played a magnanimous role in the development of modern Canada, many students, excluding those who live in francophone communities, have little to no knowledge about the French culture and how it has shaped our country.  French Council sought out to immerse students in the French culture through several events.

On Monday, December 3rd, the council played a game of Kahoot in the cafeteria during all three lunches.  The Kahoot informed players about French culture and French history.  Students were eager to participate.

On Thursday, there was a photobooth held outside of the cafeteria and Nella’s French Lunch was served inside the cafeteria.  It was also a French civvies day, with students encouraged to wear red, white or blue.
