Semaine du français! (French Week!)

Trevor Wu (11) | STAFF REPORTER

Our SAC spirit week ended not long ago, and some of us may still have had post-spirit week depression. But all of that ended when our french council announced the upcoming French week! From the council that brought us Valentine’s day roses and chocolate, as well as Christmas cards and canes. They now brought another week filled with various fun activities and competitions that bred school spirit!

French week lasted from April 7-11, and had unique competitive events each day. These activities were available everyday during all three lunches in front of the cafeteria, starting on Monday with Battleship + Interesting facts, and Tuesday with Marshmallow Eiffel Towers. Later in the week, there was a treasure hunt with a prize on Wednesday, you receive the clue in front of the cafeteria, and search throughout the school for le tresor! Next, there was Pictionary + Duolingo Haikyuu on Thursday, and a final French Kahoot on Friday! Our French council definitely hosted another exciting and eventful spirit week. The council also announced to stay tuned for more francophone activities in the near future, and for more information regarding either the French week, or just future events hosted by the French council, you can visit their instagram @strfrenchcouncil.
