This April, students gathered after school for a hands-on, feel-good, soap carving experience! Held on April 9th and 16th from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. in Room 142 (science hallway), the event welcomed students looking to destress while supporting a meaningful cause.
Participants had the chance to express their creativity by carving bars of soap generously donated by Procter & Gamble. Each finished soap was donated to 360° Kids, a York Region organization that supports at-risk youth by providing shelter, food, and essential supplies.
Organizers were thrilled with the turnout and the number of soaps ready for donation.
From stress relief to social impact, this event showed how a bar of soap and a little bit of creativity can go a long way.
