Stranger Things 5: The Finale
Stranger Things 5, The fifth and final season of the Smash hit TV show Stranger Things was officially announced and confirmed by Netflix on February 17, 2022. The season is currently filming and is said to be released in 2025.
Set in Hawkins, Indiana, the show follows a group of kids as they face mysterious creatures and government conspiracies. Season 4 left viewers with a cliffhanger, as the wicked and dark forces of the upside down threatened their world.
Season 5 will bring back the original and lovable key characters like Eleven, Mike, Dustin and Hopper, as well as an epic showdown with Vecna, the monstrous villain introduced in season 4.
The Duffer brothers, the creators of the series, have also promised their eager audience that the final season will answer all the unresolved questions and wrap up the 8 year journey from season 1 all the way to 5 with a satisfying finish.
Although the show is said to be released in 2025, Stranger Things fans spotted the Netflix France account promising fans that the release date was “coming soon”, and rumours suggest that Netflix plans to announce the release date for the new season during the service’s NFL Christmas day games.
As fans get ready for the final show, Stranger Things promises to finish off with an epic bang, leading to a thrilling and emotional ending that will leave fans on the edge of their seats.
