On Monday December 10th, 2018, the St. Robert Student Council held their first public meeting in the library after school. Many events concerning student life at St. Robert were brought up, with an emphasis on input from the attendees.
Students were encouraged to express their opinions on past school events, like the Grade 9 dance and the MAP conference, as well as how STUCO can improve on them for next year. For an updated calendar with all current and upcoming events, check out the STUCO’s official website here.

Overall, the public meeting has had a positive impact on students who attended, with Christina Xie (9) commenting that “It’s very inspirational.” However, if you were unable to attend this meeting, there will be one later on in the school year.
Getting involved in the school community is a great way to meet new people and make your high school experience memorable, and attending STUCO’s public meetings is a great way to get started.
