The Roaring Comeback: The Circle of Life has Finally Arrived

Looking for a movie to watch with your friends this Christmas? If so, Mufasa: The Lion King is set to release on December 20, 2024 in theaters. It meets everyone’s interests with its five different genres, ranging from action to a drama.

The movie is directed by Barry Jenkins, a filmmaker who received the Academy Award for Best Writing, and is produced by Mark Ceryak and Adele Romanski. The large cast features Beyonce Carter as Nala, her daughter Blue Ivy Carter as Kiara, and Aaron Pierre as Mufasa. 

Not only does the film contain photoreal CGI,  but also elements from live action cinema. Furthermore, it contains a composition by Dave Metzger, and music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, an award-winning songwriter. 

This movie is told in flashbacks, with the first flashback displaying Mufasa as an orphan who is filled with loneliness. However, it all changes when he meets Taka, the successor to the royal lineage. Mufasa, Taka, and other characters set on an adventure to find their fate and purpose. During this, they encounter a threat, and their relationship with one another is challenged.
