STR’s Ultimate Frisbee and Girls’ Slo-Pitch teams are back for another remarkable season!
From April 1 to April 14, students from all grades were extended the opportunity to compete for a spot on St. Robert’s Ultimate Frisbee team; around 30 students were invited to attend a second and final tryout on Thursday, April 17, after school. Girls interested in being part of the slo-pitch team attended their first tryout on Thursday, April 10, and will attend the next one on Wednesday, April 16, after school.
The 2025 Ultimate Festival and 2025 Girls’ Slo-Pitch Festival, both organized by OFSAA (the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations), will be held towards the end of May and the middle of June, respectively. The best of luck goes to all students trying out for the school teams, and we look forward with keen anticipation to seeing STR at this year’s provincial festivals!
