Are you looking for a way to declutter your wardrobe while also contributing to sustainability efforts? Look no further than Robbie’s Swap Shop, organized by the Chaplaincy Council. This exciting event will take place in the front foyer of Saint Roberts from February 10th to 13th. Donations of gently used clothes are welcomed at the swap shop from 8:00 to 8:30 each day. Please note that this is the only time slot available for drop-offs, so be sure to mark your calendars. By participating in Robbie’s Swap Shop, you not only get to refresh your wardrobe but also promote the idea of sustainable fashion and reduce clothing waste. Join us in this initiative to make a positive impact on the environment and support the community through the spirit of giving.
Donations for clothing are welcomed, with a few guidelines in place to ensure the items are clean and suitable. The following requirements must be met for all clothing donations:
1. All clothing items must be washed before being brought in for donation.
2. Clothing must be in sizes appropriate for teenagers.
3. Only hats, mittens, shirts, pants, and sweaters will be accepted. The council will not accept items such as underwear, swimsuits, or socks due to sanitary reasons.
4. Donations must be brought in a clean bag.
5. Each person is allowed to donate a maximum of five clothing items. By adhering to these requirements, we can ensure that the donated clothing is of good quality and suitable for distribution to teenagers in need.
From February 18th to 20th, the council will then be selling these clothes from the price range of $1 to $5. All these clothes will be sold once again at the front foyer throughout all three lunches. The money they earn will all be donated to charity
