Kendrick Lamar, the winner of 17 Grammys and first rap musician to win a Pulitzer Prize, was chosen by NFL’s head of music Seth Dudowsky to perform in New Orleans at the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show. Their choice is further backed up by Dudowsky’s statement : “Time and time again, Kendrick has proven his unique ability to craft moments that resonate, redefine, and ultimately shake the very foundation of hip-hop.” read more

Not only was it the number one broadcasted special over the past twelve months, but it was also viewed by over ten million people. A Sneak Peak into Moana 2: How Far I’ll Go

Moana 2 , the sequel to Moana, is to come out on November 27, 2024. Adding to the anticipation of the film, two prominent actors are continuing to play their roles as Maui and Moana, the “Rock” and Auli’i Cravalho! The film was directed by Jason Hand, Dana Ledoux Miller, and David Derrick and produced by Yvett Merino and Christina Chen. In addition, the movie soundtrack will be coming from Grammy winners and nominees including Mark Mancina and Emily Bear.  read more

A Song in Memory Lane

In February 20th, 2019, Memories, a reggae pop by Maroon 5, was the first single released in the seventh record album, Jordi. Although being listed one of the worst songs for some and a big hit for others, this song stills stands out from all the rest as it reminds us of the memories that shaped us, as well as to appreciate them instead of being mournful of the past . It was created for those who experienced loss and was made as a tribute after the unexpected death of Jordan Feldstein, the band’s manager and Levine’s friend, in 2019 which was caused by pulmonary thromboembolism. read more
