The 1990s fashion is making a comeback in today’s fashion. This includes a grunge aesthetic, flannel shirt, baggy jeans, and slip dresses.
Firstly, the grunge aesthetic in the 1990s was worn by many iconic musicians in the grunge music genre. This fashion includes wearing heavy boots,ripped jeans, oversized flannel, and band t-shirts. Nowadays, the fashion is endorsed and made modern. Instead of being rebellious, it is more for comfort. A famous celebrity who wore this aesthetic is Sarah Hyland, an American actress.
Secondly, the flannel shirt was made to be a facile style worn by everyone in the 90s. Currently, this can be worn over jeans, dresses, or as an oversized shacket (shirt-jacket). This style was worn by the famous celebrity Ryan Reynolds, an American and Canadian actor.
Thirdly, the baggy jeans which were inspired by a hip-hop scene is a more comfortable fashion being endorsed by today’s fashion and was worn by Katie Holmes, an American actress.
Lastly, slip dresses which were an iconic fashion piece in the 90s, have a thin strip and bias cut. This fashion is often seen worn over a t-shirt or under a chunky cardigan. This style was worn by the American celebrity Zendaya.
These are only a few of the fashions that are coming back to this era. The main reason for the comeback is many adults are looking back at their childhood.
