On December 2, 2016, the St. Robert student council organised the annual semi-formal event with a New York-themed twist to it. With an amazing venue, fantastic DJ, delicious meals, and several spectacular performances, New York was truly alive at the heart of the Scarborough convention center.

On the morning of Friday October 7th, the students and staff of St. Robert went out to carry on Terry’s legacy, and support his foundation by taking part in the annual Terry Fox Run.
This year, St. Robert’s Environmental Club promoted environmental sustainability by hosting various activities during Earth Week, April 18-22. Activities such as the YCDSB Rock the Bike, GO GREEN Water Bottle Art, a Lights Out campaign, and a school grounds ‘clean-up’ session which yielded 82kg. of garbage was participated by all students around the school.
The Spring Fling Spirit Week was a one week event created by the student council during the week of April 11th to April 15th. A series of activities occurred during this week allowing students to have fun and be more involved in the school community.
Love …countless songs, books, and poems have been written on the subject. It is the one emotion that can make you feel elated or it can catapult you into the depths of despair. Love is a deep feeling of personal attachment to another – ‘personal’ being the operative word. So why do we let a 5th Century Roman ritual such as Valentine’s Day dictate how or when we should demonstrate our love for one another?
For one magical night students from St. Robert were treated to Parisian sights and sounds at the annual semi-formal held on November 26, 2015. Almost 300 students converged at the Royalton which was transformed into the City of Lights for a themed evening of ‘Une Nuit à Paris’.
French Week was held at St.Roberts during November 23rd to November 26th and it was trés fantastique.
St. Robert’s yearly tradition of a Halloween celebration and dress up day was held on October 30, 2015, wishing all the students a happy yet haunted Halloween. Students dressed up in their favourite costumes, bringing the school to maximum life and energy.
