Love …countless songs, books, and poems have been written on the subject. It is the one emotion that can make you feel elated or it can catapult you into the depths of despair. For one magical night students from St. Robert were treated to Parisian sights and sounds at the annual semi-formal held on November 26, 2015. Almost 300 students converged at the Royalton which was transformed into the City of Lights for a themed evening of ‘Une Nuit à Paris’.
It was a sea of green and white in the St. Robert school gym on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, as almost 800 students were acknowledged for their 2014-2015 academic achievements. With proud parents and staff looking on, awards were presented to those students from grades nine to 12 who earned their place on the Honor Roll, as well as those who obtained the highest rankings in individual subjects in their grades.
Santa finally arrived at St. Robert and brought what we needed most: a break from school. Since the curriculum marathon is near it’s end, classes have started their sprint to the finish line. After intense learning, wrapping up projects, and last minute tests, the cheery dismissal announcement was a warm surge of relief for teachers and students. A reminder that we truly are entering the most wonderful time of the year. Of course the lighter atmosphere and spirit of the school sped up the seemingly never ending days.
