In an exhilarating burst of festivity, the Student Council (STUCO) at St. Robert Catholic High School orchestrated a Halloween Spirit Week from October 25th to the 31st, captivating students with an array of engaging and fun activities.
Kicking off the festivities on October 25th, the ring toss event emerged as an anticipated spectacle, beckoning students to display their skills and aim during all three lunch hours. The event was an amazing success as there were many students who participated in the game!
As the Spirit Week continued, the 26th unraveled the intriguing Halloween Trivia, held within the school’s cafeteria, offering the incentive of a candy-filled prize for those who dared to test their Halloween knowledge.
Following suit on the 27th, the spine-tingling mystery box games presented students with challenges, enticing them to decipher the contents of a mystery box for a chance to claim a prize.
Approaching the 30th, the much-anticipated DIY costume contest transpired, challenging the groups chosen from each grade to concoct outfits from mystery kits in a mere ten minutes. Each group would then walk a runway, where their outfits would be voted on by students in the cafeteria.
Ending the week with a bang, the last day was filled with laughter and chatter in the halls with the emergence of the polaroid photo booth stationed in front of the Guidance Office during all three lunches. Enthusiastic students with costumes and face paints—some comedic, some spooky—eagerly posed for snapshots at a nominal fee of $2 per photo.
Throughout the school, an infectious wave of excitement engulfed the corridors as laughter echoed, and lively conversations filled the air. The Halloween Spirit Week has left a mark on the memories of the student body, marking it as an event to remember for years to come.
