Court is now in session with the latest scoop on cereal. The debate on the order of pouring cereal and milk has been going on for generations, but there’s no clear answer in sight. Today, the accused was said to have been seen pouring the milk before the cereal, their defence statement revolving around the idea that pouring the milk first makes the experience better. After hearing arguments from both sides, the judge turns to the jury for their support.
A hundred students and teachers at St. Robert CHS were asked about their cereal preferences, 79% of which responded with cereal first, while 21 % responded with milk first.
The claim is that the ratio of cereal to milk is best determined when the solids are placed first, specifying that this method controls the volume and consistency of this morning’s grain. It is stated that adding cereal first prevents mess and splashing while allowing the milk to be distributed evenly among the cereal.
Taste and texture are among the elements of cereal affected by the ordering. It’s stated that cereal tastes best when bathed in milk, and when consumed within a reasonable time, it tastes just as crunchy as does out of the box.
The majority of the jury agrees with the statement that cereal comes first. They emphasize the ratio of cereal and milk, and the solid going in first is the right way to go.
However, an acceptable ratio of cereal to milk is achievable by adding the milk first. The argument is that adding cereal after milk prevents a large puddle of milk at the end. In turn, this ensures less food waste as the leftover milk isn’t always finished.
In terms of taste and texture, the cereal is as crunchy as it is coming out of the box. It floats atop the milk staying crisp and dry. This method keeps the cereal from being drenched in milk and tasting clumpy and saturated.
Their statement may have been met with resistance but a fifth of the jury stands strong with their decision of milk coming first. 14 members from both points of view agree that the crunch from cereal is one of its signature tastes.
As this case comes to a close, the jury has come up with their verdict. The jury convicts the accused of disproportionate distribution and sentences the accused to two months of probation.
