Meet Your Reporter: Sarah Morra

Sarah Morra (11) | STAFF REPORTER

My name is Sarah Morra, I am a grade 11 IB student at St.Robert and I am one of The Axiom’s Editorial staff reporters.

I am extremely eager to partake in the Axiom and exercise my passion for writing and journalism – I am prepared to fulfill my journalistic aspirations, commit to the curation of content, and the journey of intellectual pursuit!

I am absorbed by my love of literature, coffee, and music. Whether it’s on the bus, in my room late at night, or out in the park, I enjoy reading and obsessing over various pieces of philosophical and classical literature. My interests range from Dostoevsky, Schopenhauer, and Tolstoy, to Sylvia Plath, Oscar Wilde, and Mary Shelley. In combination with a great book and my headphones is a good cup of coffee – the perfect fix to supplement the much needed energy while completing a multitude of assignments and homework. Another interest of mine is music, which I use as a tool to unwind and destress. Some of my favorite artists are the Smiths, the Cure, the Cranberries, Deftones, Fleetwood Mac, and Lana del Rey. If you have any book or song recommendations, feel free to approach me!

I am eager to embark on my journey as a reporter for the Axiom, I anticipate the great opportunity to meet new minds, and have nothing short of a fantastic year!
