Arts Week Contest Winner

To celebrate Arts Week which took place from February 17th to the 20th, the Axiom hosted an art contest with the prompt “art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life”. There were many great submissions, but the piece that best reflected the prompt was Carlos Chin’s  “Titania’s Dusk”. Not only does this piece have a very interesting composition with many bold colours and a nice use of contrast, it captures the significance of the prompt as one can almost feel themselves transported from a mundane world to one that is much more fascinating and surreal through this drawingCongratulations to Carlos Chin!  See Mr. Fabroa in room 247 to pick up your prize.  Thank you to all the participants for submitting their art pieces to the newspaper! read more
