Update on Canadian Men’s Soccer FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

The Canadian Men’s Soccer Team can clinch a berth to the World Cup since the first time they qualified in 1986.

In fact, The Canadian Men’s Soccer Team only needs to win one more game during the 3 matches scheduled in March. These matches are against Costa Rica, Jamaica, and Panama. Qualifying for the World Cup would mark a momentous moment for the Canadian men. For the past decades, the Canadian Men’s team has always fell short on the road to the World Cup. This year, the Canadian Men team has certainly surpassed everyone’s expectations and has made their impact felt by in the international football scene. The Canadian Men’s team has risen up the FIFA world rankings climbing seven spots from 40th to rank 33th. This rise in ranking has undoubtedly been due to Canada’s dominate run in the quest for Qatar, with their record sitting at seven wins, zero losses, and 4 draws. As the their final qualifying games in March draws closer, it would not be surprising to see the Canadians shocking the world at Qatar.

The Canadian Men’s Soccer Team’s next match is against Costa Rica on March 24, 2022.
