STUCO Grade 9 Mentorship Session

On February 12th, STUCO hosted an exciting, never before experienced event for students at Saint Robert. A one-time, virtual Grade 9 mentorship session was hosted by senior students, where Grade 9s were carefully paired with student leaders in Grade 11 and 12, based on common interests. 9th graders were able to talk to older students about school, academics, co-curriculars, and mental health. Grade 9 students finally had the opportunity to get advice from seniors on a plethora of school-related topics, and had the chance to make new friends. This program took place completely online, and students used Google Meet and the Google Meet breakout room features to communicate with each other.  read more

HOSA Club

A month ago, members of the HOSA club at St. Roberts participated in an exam called FLC (Fall Leadership Conference) . HOSA is a club that focuses on health sciences. Students spend a couple of weeks preparing for the test. There were over 30 topics, from which, students could decide which topic they would participate in. The test and the study package costed members $85.  read more

CIMC/CSMC

Students from grades 9 to 12 sat down on November 18, 2020 to write the Canadian Senior and Intermediate Math Contests (CSMC and CIMC). Freshmen and Sophomores wrote the CIMC, while Juniors and Seniors wrote the CSMC. These tests were provided by Waterloo University, and the purpose was to challenge students’ math abilities.  read more
