We’ll Guide You to Ambassadors Club
The Ambassadors Club is an all-inclusive club that encourages newcomers to St.Robert to get involved in school life. Directed by Ms.Thome and Ms.Thorpe, the club meets Tuesdays in room 122, with the goal of helping new students integrate into the Canadian school system. The club aspires to create a community for these students, and combat the difficulty of being a new student in a foreign environment. “We hope that we can use our experiences to help those students fit in faster and let them feel like they belong.” – Jiwon L. (12). At each meeting, when they aren’t planning a big event, the executive members discuss topics that other members may be interested in, such as information about volunteer opportunity or discussing international language education.

An Innovative New Club

(11), better known as “Chairman Wang”’s, word for it: “The goal of the club is to conduct practical physical experiments to demonstrate laws in science that were not demonstrated in school. It’s going to be pretty fun.” They’ve already done a few experiments, and the purpose of the club is to “empower students and give them the desire to innovate using basic household materials”, says Jenning C.
