The film "The Dig," a touching British drama, was released in late January 2021, portraying a scenic retelling of the events of the 1939 excavation of the historic Anglo-Saxon cemetery Sutton Hoo. Further adapted from John Preston’s 2007 novel of the same name, Director Simon Stone casts an emotional story of discovery, hope, and perseverance, all set in the historical setting of rural pre-war United Kingdom.
