Mourinho then stripped Pogba of the captaincy without an explanation, causing yet another rift between him and his players.
Now, even though some may say it is too early to determine how this season will play out for Manchester United, the fact of the matter is that the trouble Mourinho causes in addition to the other issues the club suffers (such as players being inconsistent in their performance) may just be one problem too much for the team to succeed.
