On November 12th, 2023 St Robert’s DECA chapter made their way to Seneca College for their regional competition. The preparation for this was 2 months in the making, and their newest grade 9 members only had a short few weeks to prepare.
Contestants woke up bright and early to make their way down to Seneca College at Finch and Highway 404, and once there they prepared for the long day ahead of them.
At the end of the event, the award ceremony was held. They swept the floor with 183 awards received, 30 medals, and 14 first-place finishes. After the award ceremony, people went back home around 6.
The amazing group of talented individuals in our DECA chapter worked extremely hard, and it clearly paid off. Their excellence shouldn’t be overlooked, and they deserve some recognition. If you see them in the halls, be sure to congratulate them on their achievements, as they’re no small feat.
