University of Toronto Scarborough Library Virtual Field Trip

On March 12th and March 15th, the Grade 11 IB students of St. Robert participated in a virtual field trip to work with a librarian from the University of Toronto Scarborough Library. The Quizzards of Oz Club

With the world around us developing so quickly, it can sometimes be difficult to figure out where to start learning. The Quizzards of Oz is a club that helps its members stay up to date on interesting subjects, both within and beyond the school curriculum. Lessons are taught by the executive members of the club in an engaging and informative style. read more

DECA Regionals

It’s that time of year again, and no, I am not talking about the upcoming holidays. We are all aware of how COVID-19 has drastically changed how we go about our daily lives. All school clubs and extracurricular activities are all held online, through Zoom or Google Meet. DECA is no exception, and this year, although there was a late start, all of its members trained and worked tirelessly to ensure a good result from their regional competition. CIMC/CSMC

Students from grades 9 to 12 sat down on November 18, 2020 to write the Canadian Senior and Intermediate Math Contests (CSMC and CIMC). Freshmen and Sophomores wrote the CIMC, while Juniors and Seniors wrote the CSMC. These tests were provided by Waterloo University, and the purpose was to challenge students’ math abilities.  read more
